(V) Carl H Guinn   July 4, 1983

 

On the morning of July 4, 1983, Carl Guinn, a cattle broker was to meet a person to look at some cattle. Mr. Guinn went to a location off Gap Springs Road in Bradley County. It is believed he was intentionally lured to that location. When Mr. Guinn did not return home, family and friends began searching the area in Southwest Bradley County. On the morning of July 5, 1983, Mr. Guinn’s body was found in a hay field off Gap Springs Road.

 

(V) James C. Rose  February 9, 1989

 

On February 9, 1989, the body of James Rose was discovered 150 feet off Weatherly Switch Road, in Bradley County by highway workers. An autopsy revealed Mr. Rose had died from a single gunshot wound to the neck. It is believed Mr. Rose may have been killed at another location and his body transported to the Weatherly Switch Road location.

On February 14, 1999, at 7:30 AM, Cleveland Police Department responded to an apartment on 19th Street on a 911 call of four people being shot. James Blair, Dawn Rogers, and Cayci Higgins were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth victim Tawana “Tart” Blair survived. All three deceased victims received gunshot wounds to the head in an execution type setting.
