COLD CASE TASK FORCE

(V) Shannon Richmond  September 17, 1994

 

Shannon Richmond, a 23 year old male, was found dead in the remote area of Shoal Creek, in Monroe County. Mr. Richmond was shot once in the head, stabbed, and his hands had been handcuffed. Mr. Richmond had moved to the Monroe County area from Ohio just a few weeks prior to his death.

 

(V) James Miller  July 29, 2010

 

On July 29, 2010, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department responds to a 911 call of horses being out in the Sands Road area of Monroe County. Upon arrival Law Enforcement, could see that there was a fire up a farm lane. Upon further investigation, it was determined to be a vehicle fire. After the fire was extinguished the trunk was opened and a body was discovered inside. Later identified as James Miller.
